Make every key count.
Steady is a typing practice tool for building accurate, repeatable movements on a physical QWERTY keyboard. Its focus is simple: useful words, clear feedback, and consistent finger placement.
Practice that fits your next step
Start with everyday words or complete sentences, or choose a foundation drill to work on a particular reach. Every practice set is open. You can return to familiar movements whenever they need attention.
A live keyboard guide identifies the next key and its assigned finger. It provides a visual reference, but cannot observe your hands or verify your technique. The typing guide explains home-row placement and how to use the exercises.
Feedback you can act on
Each character attempt contributes to your accuracy. Mistakes hold your place until you enter the expected character, so correcting an error does not erase it from the result. The recommended target is 95% accuracy. Completed exercises help identify keys to revisit in targeted practice.
